The Turnage Theater is really excited to announce that because the March 2^nd performance of the Glenn Miller Orchestra is sold out, and due to strong popular demand, we are adding a second performance. The originally scheduled concert is at 3 PM, the new concert is slated for 7:30 that same evening of March 2^nd. We are all so pleased that this concert of great big band music is being so enthusiastically received.

If you would like to exchange your current tickets into the new performance, we will be happy to help you do that. There will be a $1 charge for the exchange, and of course, if you upgrade your seat there will be the additional charge for the difference between the price of your current ticket and the better seat. On Saturday, February 23, at 3 PM and 8 PM, a fabulous show, AFRICAN FOOTPRINT, will thrill you all. This show tells the vibrant and diverse history of South Africa through a breathtaking blend of Afro- and Euro- centric music and dance. AFRICAN FOOTPRINT is to South Africa what RIVERDANCE is to the Irish and STOMP! is to the British. Please do not miss this colorful, enthralling and culturally important spectacle of music and dance.

Then it is, indeed, on to Ireland. On Friday, February 29 at 8 PM, the SAW DOCTORS will bring the Turnage their unique combination of Ireland’s rich musical history and modern day rock. No band is more beloved by their audience than the SAW DOCTORS. They have played concerts on nearly deserted islands, in the living rooms of the biggest fans as well as in arenas and concert halls. And every time, they have packed the house (or beach!).

Time is running out for you to join the Young Enthusiasts of the Turnage for their first ever fund raising event for the theater. On Saturday, February 16, come to the Turnage and join this great new group of supporters for food, fun and music. It promises to not only be a great way to spend an evening, but the proceeds go to sponsoring the appearance of the renowned Carolina Chamber Symphony (conducted by Yours Truly) at the Turnage on April 20.
