I have received a number of calls and questions regarding
the ECU/Loessin Summer Theatre. This is wonderful! I could not ask for better
phone calls. I wish I had information out to everyone sooner. For those of you
wondering how and when to purchase your tickets, here is how it goes.
- Currently
we are “re-newing” subscriptions for those people that were subscribers to
the summer theatre last year. If you were a summer theatre subscriber last
year and did not receive your letter from ECU, please give a call to the
box office at 252-975-1191. We will be happy to help you find comparable
seats to what you had over at ECU.
- On
April 21st we will start selling subscriptions to the “new”
subscribers. Don’t worry, there are plenty of great seats here at the
Turnage to go around. In fact, ECU has doubled the number of performances
so that will make it even easier to find great seats. As soon as I have
the information available for you I will post the order form for new
subscriptions here on the website. You can print it up and send it to the
box office when you have picked your dates. The orders will not be
processed until April 21st, but you can mail them in, or drop
them off.
- On May
5th we will start processing orders for single tickets. Single
tickets means that you are purchasing for individual events instead of
purchasing an entire subscription.
- Pricing:
The cost for the summer theatre subscriptions are as follows.
Subscriptions:
Full Priced Subscription (all three
shows): $75
Senior Subscription (65 yrs or
older, all three shows): $70
Youth/Student: (Proof of enrollment
must be shown to pick up tickets) $50
***** Currently we are only selling
subscriptions in the Orchestra and the Mezzanine, if you are interested in a
balcony subscription, call the box office****
Single Tickets
Orchestra and Mezzanine: $30 per
ticket
Balcony: $20 per ticket
I hope this helps answers every-one's questions, and I thank
you for your patience while we have gotten everything in order for the Summer
Theatre. This summer should be a wonderful benefit to both ECU and the Turnage.
We hope that those of you who have been enjoying the Turnage this year will
head over to Greenville to continue to support
the students in the School of Theatre and Dance, and those who have been
subscribing to the ECU seasons will also come over to Washington to join us at the Turnage next
year.
Thank you all for your continued support of the Turnage.
