Turnage Theater - Membership - Consider joining the Friends of the Turnage Theaters

If you enjoyed seeing John McCutcheon, Terrance Simien, The
Wailin’ Jennys, Emile Pandolfi, Beehive, the 60’s Musical or A Christmas Carol
at the Turnage Theater after it opened last November, you know what will be in
store for 2008 and the years beyond. Even
if you saw none of these but enjoy live theater and classical movies, you have
reason to consider renewing or initiating annual membership in the Friends of
the Turnage Theaters organization. This
is one very good way to contribute toward the cost of bringing performances
which ticket sales alone will not cover for this theater.
As you consider membership in 2008, please know that you
will be helping to make it possible for the public to see additional programs
including country music; other folk music; jazz; children’s theater; film
series such as Cecil B DeMille films; classical music programs, including East
Carolina University’s Four Season Chamber Music, small symphony orchestras,
opera, and ballet; other dance programs; and Broadway musicals that are touring
nationally or that are produced by East Carolina University’s School of Theatre
and Dance when its entire 2008 Summer Theater Program is performed in
Washington. Please join and encourage
friends and family members to do so!
Since the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, all membership
payments and other such donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by
law.
