Having trouble using this option? Click here for a step by step guide When you order online there is a $3 processing fee per transaction regardless of the number of tickets you buy.
Order Over the Phone If you prefer to speak to a person when placing an order, you are welcome to call the Turnage box office (regular hours are 10-4 Monday - Friday, closed on holidays) at 252-975-1191. There is a $2 processing fee for ordering over the phone.
Order in Person If you are already in the area, you want to test seating options, or you just don't want to pay any fees, then we welcome you to come to the Turnage Box Office on Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm to purchase your tickets in person. There is no processing fee at the box office.
Ticket Delivery Options
Will Call: We will be happy to hold your tickets for you here at the box office until you arrive to pick them up, either prior to or on the night of the show. Though the ticket confirmation email states that you need to print this confirmation and provide a photo ID, none of this is true. You need only come equipped with the name of the person who has ordered the tickets (sometimes address confirmation will also be required), even if these ticket were given to you by someone who could not attend.
E-Tickets: Having your tickets emailed to you means that you can have them in your hand today without paying an additional mailing charge. All you need is a valid email address and a printer, and you will be ready to see the show.
By Mail: We will be happy to mail your tickets to you for a $0.75 processing fee. In order to ensure delivery in a timely fashion, we will not offer this option less than 8 days prior to the show.
Policies
Refunds/Exchanges: There is a strict no refund, no exchange* policy at the Turnage Theater. Regardless of your ability to attend or your change in seating preference, the tickets you purchase are yours to do with as you please. We recommend giving your tickets to friends or family in the event that you are unable to attend a show for which you have purchased tickets.
*patrons who have purchased the Season Ticket package are allowed some latitude in ticket exchanges. If you are one of these patrons and you need assistance, please contact the box office at (252) 975-1191.
Children: Shows at which children are welcome to attend are clearly identified in the Family and Children’s event page of our website. All other shows are at the discretion of the parent. Please be aware that no disruption of the performance for other guests will be tolerated regardless of your age or the age of your child. If you are asked to leave the theater, your tickets will not be refunded. Children of any age - including infants in arms - are required by fire codes to have a ticket if you intend to bring them into the theater. Worried about your child's view? Consider bringing a booster seat for your child to sit in during the performance. Latecomers: Certainly it is grand to make an entrance, and there is no easier way to accomplish this than by arriving late. However, we ask that you find another means of making your presence known, as latecomers disrupt both performers and patrons alike. After all, everyone attending has, like yourselves, paid good money to enjoy the performance. Please be aware that the person who asks you to be patient is a volunteer, and is therefore not paid to take any abuse from you. If you would like to abuse someone for our policies, please stop by the box office and a name and address will be provided to you. Cameras: Flash photography is Never allowed in the Turnage Theater. Using a flash inside the theater may result in your being asked to leave. Recording devices are also not allowed. Please keep your smart phones - and cameras - turned off. Parking : There is limited on street parking available on Main Street in Washington. There is also ample parking behind the theater, or in front of the Theater along the waterfront.
