GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Box office hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for legal holidays
  • For ticketed performances, the box office opens two hours prior to the performance.
  • All programs, dates and times subject to change without notice.

ORDERING TICKETS: 

  • The Turnage is happy to provide you with 24-hour online access to general box office information and flexibility with ticket orders through this website.  
  • You may also order tickets by calling the box office at 252-975-1191.
  • To pick up or purchase tickets in person, visit the Turnage Box Office at 150 West Main Street, Washington NC.
  • Ticket orders may be mailed for $.75 per order or printed at home using our e-ticket option.
  • The Turnage accepts Visa and Mastercard.
  • Tickets must be paid for upon purchase. The Turnage does not hold tickets without payment.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to use a purchased ticket, please return it to the Turnage box office at least 24 hours before the performance. You will receive a tax donation letter in the value of the ticket.
  • Single tickets for each performance will go on sale six weeks before the performance.

Handling Fees:

  • There is no handling fee purchased at the Box Office.
  • There is a $2.00 handling fee for phone orders.
  • A handling fee of $2.50 will be added to each single ticket purchased on the internet.

Concessions at the Turnage are provided in the lobby by the Washington Cafe Company.  Concessions are cash only. We have beer, wine, soda, coffee, and various backed sweets. Come in early for a treat, or at intermission. Concessions are CASH ONLY so please come prepared. 

  
Ticket Prices:

 

  • Prices vary for every performance. Price ranges are indicated on the Turnage web site calendar.
  • Programs, dates and artists are subject to change without notice. If an event presented by the Turnage Theater has been canceled or postponed, any changes will be announced – if time permits – on a postcard sent to your home, on the website and in advertisements on local radio and in newspapers.
  • Due to fire codes, everyone (including infants) must have a ticket. There are no exceptions. Children should be able to sit in a seat quietly throughout the performance. Unless a performance is clearly geared to children, the Turnage recommends against bringing babies and young children (under three) to major performances. Parents are advised to use their discretion when purchasing tickets for children. The Turnage is not responsible for the content or material of performances.

Seating

  • There are 3 seating sections at the Turnage. The Orchestra, which is all of the seating on the first floor. THe Mezzenine, which is the first three rows of the Balcony (rows AA-CC). and the Balcony which is rows DD-JJ.

Seeing a performance with a group is not only fun, but economical. A group outing at the Turnage Theater is a great way to entertain clients.
